Metro Ministries Sidewalk Sunday School
Metro Ministries oversaw the children's ministry at Fishnet 2007.
From Metro Ministries web site:
"We are currently reaching over 20,000 children each week through this program. Every child receives a personal home visit from one of our staff or volunteers each week."
"We engage them with fun and games and with a positive message that encourages them to stay in school, to stay away from gangs and crime, and to dream big."
"Metro now conducts its Sunday School programs in the Philippines, Romania, South Africa, and Italy and its model is being duplicated by organizations in cities around the world."
What is Fishnet 2007?
Fishnet 2007 is an outdoor Christian festival that was held July 19-21 in Front Royal, Virginia. Fishnet 2007 was the 32nd anniversary of Fishnet which is the longest running annual Christian festival in the nation with the same leadership.
Fishnet is great for youth groups and features 3 days and 3 nights of powerful music, teaching, fun, teen sessions, activities, late night Rock House for teens, late night basketball for teens, camping, prayer ministry, on-site food, fun, and memories to last a lifetime!
