Dear Friend:
This is an exciting time of restructuring for Fishnet Ministries, Inc. On February 11, 2005 at 4:45 pm this ministry received funds to become totally DEBT-FREE! Since that time many hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt have been paid in full! All of the glory goes to God!
After years of financial struggles (that a book may someday detail), we now have many options to choose from that we did not have when we were in debt! We plan to share the direction of the ministry in the coming months with a special announcement during Fishnet 2008, July 17, 18, and 19, our 34th annual Christian festival.
Our ministry headquarters remain at the Fishnet Life Center near Front Royal, Virginia housed in our 16,000 square foot ministry center. We believe that our best years of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and helping the needy are yet to come. To each person who has attended Fishnet festivals, given of your finances, prayed for us, and served on the volunteer staff, we want you to know we deeply appreciate your partnership and friendship. Thank you!
We rejoice to be DEBT-FREE but being DEBT-FREE is not a destination but rather a place in the journey of life. More mountains need to be climbed and more valleys need to be passed through until we reach our eternal home. We invite additional people to come on board with us with their help, prayers, financial support and suggestions as we reach out to people around the globe with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It has been my pleasure to oversee the outreaches of Fishnet, with the faithful partnership of my wife Bobbi, since the inception of the organization in March of 1976. Fishnet Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. My wife and I had the privilege of coordinating the first Fishnet festival in July, 1975.
Fishnet fest-events have been attended by hundreds of thousands of people over the years and thousands have accepted Christ at Fishnet festivals. The events are non-denominational and target the interests and needs of people of all ethnicities and denominations. We humbly acknowledge God's gracious and generous provision during these 33 years.
Fishnet 2008, July 17, 18, and 19, our 34th anniversary will be an exciting Christian festival with great times for children, teens, and adults. Thank you for watching here for Fishnet 2008 program updates and other details about ministry events.
